Work from Home, Home-based Jobs and Businesses are very much in demand these days.
What with all the “get-rich-schemes” and “easy money spiels” many hopefuls are constantly falling into the traps of shady companies who use websites, emails and ads to invite people to join their team. However, be prepared because these quick money-making ploys are not as easy as they may seem. There is bound to be a catch looming somewhere.
Scenario: You see a job posting saying “WRITERS NEEDED” and being a freelance writer yourself, you grab the opportunity to contact the employer. Minutes later, you receive an email saying something like:
We received your request for information. Before we begin sending you the information you requested

Then you will receive another email thanking you for your interest. And you will be asked to click another URL to start working on your first job. Creating an air of suspense…aware that the eager beaver will do as told. So you click the link and wait for the page to appear. This is what the website will say:
Would you like to be your own boss and work directly from home? (YES, who doesn’t?) What if I told you that I have a system that runs virtually on autopilot where you could make $250-$2250+ per day working only 30 minutes? (WHOA!) Sound to good to be true? (You bet it does!) Check out my proof of earnings above. No experience or special skills are required! (GREAT!) All you will need is a computer and access to the internet. (THOSE I HAVE! So what should I do next?)
Then the website will explain briefly how the program works…testimonials…a lot of inspirational talk…then the modes of payment…then some more testimonials…and then finally…the ONE TIME FEE of $49 for the Basic Package. But there is a good explanation for it: “This one time fee is charged to make sure you’re serious about joining the program. We used to offer it for free, but the membership included many people that were not truly motivated. You’ll soon see it’s a small price to pay when you live the life our members do.”
Hmmm…fair enough. But hold your horses folks! Check first if they are legit. What do other people say about their experience with that company? Were they paid as promised? Are the feedbacks mostly good or bad? Pry! Pry! Pry!
